Blairgowrie and Rattray Community Council
Citizen of the Year, Young Person of the Year and Community Group of the Year
The Blairgowrie Advertiser introduced a Citizen of the Year (CotY) Trophy to recognise outstanding individuals in the community who have gone above and beyond what would be expected from volunteering. Over the years a Young Person of the Year (YPotY) was added then a Community Group of the Year (CGotY) was also added. Traditionally Blairgowrie & Rattray Community Council (BRCC) has supported the Blairgowrie Advertiser with the process. As of 2025, BRCC runs the process on their own.
