Overview
Blairgowrie District Community Shed

As part of our mission to overcome social isolation, we are having a membership drive with the aim of bringing people together, learning or sharing skills, establishing new routines, and making friends over a cup of tea.  The Shed offers a wide variety of activities such as wood/metal working, furniture restoration, repairing garden benches, making bird boxes, restoring antique cannons and much more. And it all happens in a friendly and supportive environment.

We are always open to new ideas and suggestions and are considering extending the days/times we open. We’d also like to introduce new activities so please give us some feedback about what you would like to see.

Ladies, we aim to be as inclusive as possible so your input, regarding activities you might be interested in, is invaluable. Gentlemen, if there’s something you’d like to do that we haven’t thought of already then please get in touch.

Full membership is just £40 per year for anyone over 18 who wants to use all that we offer, (free if you’re only looking to bring something to be fixed or restored). We are a welcoming  bunch of folk and we warmly encourage you become part of our Sheddie community and help us form what we do as we move forward.

We are also open to offering space in the Shed for use by other groups.
